2026-2027 Grant Cycle

ECF is pleased to announce that our 2026-27 grant cycle is focused on supporting the human-animal bond.

We invite qualified nonprofits serving Escondido residents to submit a Letter of Intent for projects that foster meaningful connections between people and animals.

Research shows that human-animal bonds provide significant therapeutic, developmental and educational benefits for children and adults. These interactions may involve companion, service or therapy animals as well as wildlife conservation programs that create a lasting positive impact on the community.

2026 Grant Cycle: Art Speaks 2

Escondido Community Foundation seeks to fund Nonprofit Arts Organizations with a proven track record of producing murals in the San Diego Region. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will facilitate the allocation of funding to nonprofits for fully conceived, Escondido-centered Mural projects.

The funding range is from $15,000 to $50,000 with the potential of up to three projects being funded in the coming year .

This scholarship lets you be you.

A scholarship to support LGBTQ+ students (closeted or not), allies and more.

We are passionate about addressing the unique challenges of students who face barriers related to sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. Social acceptance, mental health issues, and family rejection may be some of the issues students face, but college affordability doesn’t have to be one of them.
