The mission of Escondido Community Foundation is to meet emerging needs in Escondido by increasing responsible philanthropy to benefit all who live, work and play in the community.

March Grantee Spotlight: San Diego Children Discovery Museum

San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit institution. SDCDM rely on generous donations from individuals, businesses, foundations, and government entities to continue providing interactive, educational experiences to children and their families.

2025 Grant Cycle

The 2025 Escondido Community Foundation (ECF) grant cycle is now closed.  Our grant committee is currently reviewing LOIs from nonprofits serving Escondido that will improve the health and welfare of senior citizens. Grants Celebration Program

Since 2007, more than $4 million has been granted to nonprofits serving Escondido, including contributions made to After-the-Fire Fund. ECF also partnered with the City of Escondido to grant $1.5 million to nonprofit organizations that serve the city.
