Our grant will be used to support 32 students in an after-school program that teaches engineering and fabrication skills by working with adult mentors.

Our grant will directly support tuition and training fees for veterans residing in Escondido. The program will provide job training and certification programs to estimated 24 veterans.

Our grant will support the placement of participants at the North County Campus in on-the-job internships with the City of Escondido.

Our grant will support an after-school program that teaches students culinary skills using seasonal food grown within the farm while providing needed resources to enter the food service industry.

Our grant will support student training through the Escondido Adult School. This two-part medical assistant program combines administrational responsibilities and clinical classroom training.

Grants Celebration Program

Since 2007, more than $4 million has been granted to nonprofits serving Escondido, including contributions made to After-the-Fire Fund. ECF also partnered with the City of Escondido to grant $1.5 million to nonprofit organizations that serve the city.
